Tempes Fugit

These beauties only stand 5 inches tall.
Yes it does...time flies and life gets complicated.

So what have I been working on?  Happily completed some UFO's (unfinished objects) and started a few new things. Thought I'd share the last batch of Retro Cafe Art fairy shrines.

This time I went with a decidedly SteamPunk theme pulling out all the stops (aka stash items) and creating some really fun pieces.  The Susan Lenart Industrial Chic pieces that I have been hoarding were just perfect for the theme.  But add to that all the gears and a few pieces of vintage junk from dad's workshop.

I think what I love so much about these is that it gives me my 3D fix.  There are so many facets to them.  Not only are there the 4 sides to finish but the inset shrine window adds another whole dimension.

I have been absent from the blog world, getting on with life.  I have spent some time in California with my daughter.  Now home and crafting before I head off for the coast again.
Stop in to view these in person at Honey Poo Poo as pictures can't begin to show all the detail and many tiny attributes.
And they just wouldn't be complete without a backside.
